Day 01 Arrive At Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu
As you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be greeted by one of the Nepal Generation Trek representatives who will welcome you and help you get transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu Valley and Bhaktapur Sightseeing Full Day to Nagarkot
Today, you will be visiting various historical and cultural destinations listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur valley. Beginning the sightseeing tour with the Pashupatinath temple, you would be looking at one of the most sacred temples of the Hindu people. It has a beautiful pagoda house and you can also see the cremation ceremony of the dead beside the holy Bagmati River as well. The Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas ever built. Ornamented with many prayer wheels, the stupa has a serene and tranquil atmosphere. You would be visiting the Changunarayan temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple is one of the finest and oldest temples with pagoda-style architecture. Richly decorated with sculptures and carvings, its location offers beautiful views of the Kathmandu Valley. Moving to Bhaktapur, you would be then visiting the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The fifty-five window palace, the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate, and the art galleries at Bhaktapur are exquisite to observe and to visit. Later in the evening, you then drive to Nagarkot, which takes about an hour. The views of the mountain peaks of eastern Nepal, including Mount Everest Region, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal can be seen from the viewpoint at Nagarkot. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nagarkot.
Day 03 Nagarkot to Chitawan 7-8 Hour Driving
Waking up early, you would be looking at the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, you would then be heading to Chitwan National Park today. As you reach Chitwan, you can have a short visit to the village around the vicinity. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast, and dinner included.
Day 04 Fill Day Jungle Activity at Chitawan National Park
Taking an Elephant ride, you would be exploring the park’s perimeters today. A Jungle safari at the park presents you trudging through beautiful woodlands and amazing sights of emerald foliages and glimpses of unique wild animals. A canoe ride up the Narayani River, you would be experiencing an amazing time! Taking local boats to watch crocodiles along the banks of the river, you will also visit the Elephant Breeding Centre. Later in the afternoon, you would also be entertained with a Tharu Cultural Program. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 05 Chitwan to Lumbini 5 Hours
After breakfast, you would then be heading to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. A World Heritage Site, Lumbini is a pilgrimage site for Buddhists from around the world. Raised by the Indian emperor Ashoka, the Ashoka Pillar is a popular landmark at Lumbini. You would be visiting various monasteries and temples at Lumbini as well. Day 06 Sightseeing at Lumbini, Explore the Monasteries, Temples, and LakesAfter breakfast, Visit the sacred garden/pond / Mayadevi temple/monasteries and temples built by many countries as China / Thailand / Burma / Srilanka / Korea / Germany / France / Japan, and many more. Day 07 Day tour to Tilaurakot. O/n at hotel in Lumbini.
Drive to Tilaurakot. Tilaurakot is the place where Lord Buddha spent up 29 years of his princely life. This place is 27 km away from the Lumbini and not disturbed by the residence of the crowd. You can still observe the basement of the palace and other historical believed which were 2500 years old material. After lunch, you will move to the Gotihawa which is the accurate birthplace of Lord Buddha. The brick structure of stupa and monasteries can be seen in the area outside the modern Gaotihawa village. Day 08- Lumbini to Pokhara 6- 7 Hour
After breakfast, a drive to Pokhara will be done today. The road is filled with sights of woodlands and terrace farms that are brimming with the vegetation of rice and barley. Upon your arrival at Pokhara, you would be checking into your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara, breakfast included.
DAY 09 - SIGHTSEEING IN POKHARA
A splendid sightseeing tour will be done in Pokhara today. You would be visiting Sarangkot. It is a famous viewpoint where close views of mountains like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre can be seen, along with a beautiful view of Pokhara city and the Fewa Lake as well. Visiting the Bindabasini temple, you can look at old bazaars. Dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati, the Bindabasini temple has a park ground that offers a fine picnic and relaxing area. The Davis fall is another highlight of sightseeing in Pokhara. Locally known as the Patale Chango, this waterfall surges down into a deep gorge leaping through several rocky orifices. This is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike. The Gupteshwor Cave has an entrance right across Davis Fall and the cave itself is 3 kilometers long. This cave is sacred to the Hindu people as a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here. Other highlights of Pokhara city sightseeing are the Fewa Lake, the Barahi Temple, the Seti River Gorge, and the Tibetan refugee Camp. The Tibetan village of Tashiling in the south and the Tashi Palkhel village in the north are renowned for the production and trade of woolen carpets and other handicrafts. The original Tibetan settlers in this region migrated to Nepal in the ‘50s. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara, breakfast included.
Day 10 Drive to Nayapul 1 Hour and Trek to Ulleri (2070m) 4Hour walk
Beginning the trek from Nayapul after a 1-hour drive from Pokhara, you will be taking a short 15-minute walk along the banks of the Modi River after which you will be reaching the village of Birethanti (1,015m). Birethanti is a large village that has many shops and a myriad of teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Birethanti Khola. The trail continues to climb steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495 meters and after a short climb, you will be reaching Tikhedhunga lying at the elevation of 1,570 meters. The trek is relatively short and easy, a prelude to the trekking experience in the Annapurna region. Overnight stay at the Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 11 Uqlleri to Ghorepani (2840m.) 4 Hour
We will be reaching the elevation of 2,070 meters. Ulleri is a large Magar village and the trail ascends gently from this point through verdant forests of oak and rhododendron towards Banthanti (2,250m). Then, you will continue trekking towards Nangethanti at 2,460 meters. After an hour’s walk, you will arrive at Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a village that has many teahouses and lodges and presents beautiful views of the mountains from its vicinity. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 12 at the Morning Hike to Poon Hill and Trek to Tadapani 6 Hour
An early morning hike to Poon Hill will be done today. A famous vantage point, Poon Hill presents amazing and spectacular sights of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges and many of its surrounded peaks. The sight of the sunrise amidst the mountain ranges at Poon Hill is breath-taking beautiful! Spending around an hour at Poon Hill, soaking up the views and taking pictures, you will return back to Ghorepani. Climbing along ridges and through pine and rhododendron trees, you will be reaching Deurali. Descending to Banthanti, you will then return to Tadapani. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 13 Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m.) 3 Hours
From Tadapani, the trail descends through lush forests to Ghandruk, a village occupied by Gurung people. Owning their own dialect, culture, tradition, rituals, and practices- the lifestyle of the people at Ghandruk is unique and fascinating to observe. The village is also the home of many Gorkha soldiers. A famous destination for trekkers, Ghandruk is known for its beautiful mountain views and also for its easy reach from Pokhara and Kathmandu. You can have a visit to the Annapurna Conservation Area and museums and can explore the village as well. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 14 Ghandruk to Pokhara by Drive 2/3 Hours
Ending the trek at Ghandruk Village, you will be driving to Pokhara today. The drive is brimming with beautiful woodlands sights of terraced farmlands lush with variegated rice and barley farming. The road follows emerald hills and the flow of jovial rivers. After reaching Pokhara, you can relax in the afternoon and even take a stroll around the lakeside to soothe your body from the long drive. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast, and lunch included.
Day 15 Pokhara to Kathmandu 6 Hour
You will be arriving in Kathmandu from Pokhara today by private car. And the evening you will have a brilliant farewell dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with a cultural performance. The performance depicts traditional Nepali costumes and folk music. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast, and dinner included.
Day 16 Farewell/ tour Ends
Today is the last day and you will be transferred to the airport three hours before your scheduled flight by a Nepal New Generation Trek representative. And then you will depart, hopefully with beautiful memories of the trip.
