Gokyo Lake trekking presents an exceptional chance to witness gigantic Himalayan ranges over 8000m including the highest Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu and the Ngozumpa Glacier- the largest glacier in the Nepal Himalayas. We can also visit the Sagarmatha National park to view the protected floras and faunas. To begin our trekking from Lukla Airport, walk down to the Dudh Koshi River. From here we will stick with the major track to Namche Bazaar, a prosperous village situated in a huge secluded bowl-shaped region; you will have a marvelous experience. And the remarkable sight of the Khumbu mountains like Ama Dablam ( 6856m), Thamserku (6608m) as well as immense vistas of Everest will spellbind you. As we reach, Machherma the awe-inspiring vistas of Cho Oyu, Kantega and Thamserku will captivate you. We will also walk on the messy, risky moraines of Ngozumpa Glacier – the main glacier in Nepal.
We will be enchanted by varied scenery of the Gokyo Valley including the series of beautiful Gokyo lake. We will get to observe the first lake Longpongo situated at the height of 4690m. Subsequently, the second lake, Taboche Tsho totally enthralled us with its shiny turquoise blue water alluring in the sun. In series, third lake comes into the sight. We will also notice that the Gokyo village set by the third lake and Cho-Oyu peak as a backdrop provide a wonderful sight here.

One of the most noteworthy marks of the trek is the view of wonderful ice edge between Gyachung (2922m) and Cho Oyu located in Khumbu region. The best season to go for Gokyo Lake trekking is September to December and February to June and you will be accommodating at lodge during this Gokyo Lake Trekking.
Day.1. Kathmandu, New Generation Trek people wil be there in the airport to receive you and for your transfer to the hotel.
Day.2. the Day 2nd will be followed by the program of sightseeing in the historical and religious. Full day's sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swayambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts, and Narayanhiti Museum( The palace of the king's of saha dynasty). Return to the hotel.
Day.3, It's the first day that the trek begins. Drive to airport with the other crew and then fly to Lukla. And on the same day head for Phakding(1.30 hours for lunch to Thadokoshi from Lukla and next 1.30 hours to the guest house at Phakding.
Day. 4, Phakding to Namche - Beginning with a slight climb to Jhorsalle, the trail pases a waterfall. Ass day, we pass villages interspersed with magnificent forest- rhododendron, magniolia trees and giant firs. And on the way to walking you will be rewarded a view of tantalizing glimpse of Kusum Kanggru ( 6369m) Thamserku (6608m) Everest ( 8848m) Nuptse ( 7879 m) staying at Namche bazaar (3440m).
Day5. Acclimatization day in Namche. Acclimatization is most important before proceeding to a higher elevation. It is therefore recommended that you take a short days hike to Thame, Khunde, Khumjung or up to Everest view hotel which provide a very close up view of Mt Everest or relax and explore the Sherpa culture of Namche.
Day 6. Namchebazaar to Phortse Thanga :Leave Namche along the direction of the gompa and turn right after the large rocks engraved with Buddhist images.The trek climbs the hill to Khumjung and descends to the valley of Dudhkoshi and arrives at Phortse Thanga (3,500m) which offers supreb views of Thamserku(6,608m), Kangtewa
Day.7, Phortse Thanga to Machermo: This will be another short day trek to aid acclimatization to the altitude.The path goes through the middle of forest and offers the first view of Cho you peak (8,153m), working , through rhododendron forest and juniper and large conifers appear as the elevation increases making the trekking beautiful in spring. The trail passes through kharkas and summer settlements to Dole after that we will work across a rocky terrain scattered with a few dwarf rhododendrons. Staying overnight at Machermo at (4,410m)
Day.8, Machermo to Gokyo Lakes : The trail climbs a ridge for an excellent view both down the valley to Kengtega and up towards Cho Oyu and descend to a river and again climbs steep to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpz glacier. A few lakes appear on the trail and finally reach to Gokyo (4,750m), which is a collection of stone houses and walled pastures on the shores of large lake. The mountain views in the Gokyo region are spectacular. A two-hour climbing on Gokyo Ri (5350m), the small peak above the lake provides panoramic views of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, cholatse and Tawache
Day.9 Gokyo Lake explore around: The excurtion to the Gokyo peak usually starts early in the morning. The climb is quite steep first 30 minutes, it will take you an hour to reach the top with its traditional prayer flags. From where you will have a magnificent view of highest peaks, from the west to east are Cho you (8,153m), Gyachung Kang (7,922m), Everest ( 8848m), Lhotse (8,501m) and further way Makalu, On the way to descent you can enjoy, superb view of Gokyo Lake..
Day.10 Gokyo lake to Dole: Trek back to Dole.
Day.11, After breakfast we will work to Khumjung, Khumjung is the largest settlement village in the Sherpa land where you will have chance to see real Sherpas' life style and there cultural activities, The village has also a high school which is funded by Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation and also an old monastery where they have preserved famous Yeti skull
Day .12 Khumjung to Phakding: the trail again drops to Namche Bazar and have a short tea/coffee stop and continue descending via same route and on the way stop for the lunch break an hour at Jorsale Village and continue work to Phakding
Day13, Phakding- Lukla :
Day14. Lukla- Kathmandu : via flight and transfer to Hotel.
