Lower Mustang Valley Trekking
Mustang is located north of the main Himalayan chain between the snow-capped mountain on the east and west bordering Tibet and relatively wide and leveled ridge towards north with pass not higher than 4,600m. The climate and land is dry and arid. Villages are located in the valley at the altitude of 3,300m to 4,000m Where important historical sites are also located in this area. It was an important salt trading post in the Trans Himalayan belt. Mustang has much less rain then the rest of Nepal. Mustang trek lying in the rain shadow of the Himalayas is perhaps the last enclave of pristine Tibetan culture.

Forbidden & isolated from the rest of the World it was able to evolve its own distinctive culture and traditional which is so rich & unique. Trekking in this region is an adventure in wonderland. Astonishing altitude variations and ecological diversity make this area overflow with natural beauty. The trek to Lower Mustang passes through almost tree-less barren landscape. A steep rocky trail climbs up and down hill with panoramic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and several other peaks, making a truly memorable trekking
