Brief Introduction

The Kathmandu to Nagarkot mountain biking journey embarks from the Kathmandu Valley and initiates for about 38 kilometers. 

Head east from Kathmandu and follow the Araniko highway towards Bhaktapur. After approximately 15 kilometers, you'll reach Bhaktapur, an ancient city with well-preserved architecture. Take a break here to explore the historic Durbar Square. 

Continuing east on the Araniko Highway, and keep following the signs for Nagarkot. The road gradually starts to ascend and you'll begin to experience beautiful scenery, with several small villages, terraced fields, lush forests, and the occasional glimpse of the Himalayas on a clear day. 

After about 32 kilometers of riding, you'll reach Nagarkot. this peaceful hill station is known for its stunning sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayan range.
