Rara Lake, is probably one of the most rewarding and fascinating lake in Himalayan range given of nature.

Introduction to Simikot Rara Lake Trek This trek follows through the Southern Humla with incredible views of foothills, hills, mountains, lush forests to arid lands. The trail leads along the Karnali River, the longest river of Nepal touching various village settlements of ethnicities like Khasas, Thakuris, Brahmins, Byansis and occupational castes. It ends at Rara Lake, the biggest lake in Nepal which lies in the Rara National Park. The area is a home for hundreds of species of trees, plants, birds and animals. This arrangement ensures that even if someone in the group gets sick or is unable to carry on, the trip can still go ahead as planned for the rest of the group. We can run the trek for groups of any size, but usually a maximum of twelve people is ideal as we've found this to be the optimum size for a successful trip.
