Kusum Kanguru is one of the peaks belonging to Mahalangur sub range of the Nepalese Himalayas. The name “Kusum Kanguru” mean “Three Snow White Gods” according to Sherpa Language which is refered to the triple summit of the mountain

The caravan route to Kusum Kanguru takes you from Kathmandu on a scenic mountain flight to Lukla (2800m.), then a trek to Chutanga (3,173m.) then ascent the Zatrela pass and in to Zatrwa-La (4,610m.). From here the trek continues to Kothe (3,600m.), Yak Kharka(4100m.) and in to Kusum Kangaru Base Camp (4360m.). Kusum Kanguru peak offers the fantastic panoramic view of the Himalayas like Mount Everest, Cho-Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and Kwongde. For the explorer of the botanical terms like Rhododendron forest, pines, wildlife as well as the flora and fauna, it could be another best destination. Brief Introduction

Kusum Kanguru Peak Climbing (6360m.) is a very technical and challenging peak from all possible routes. Kusum Kanguru climbing is an impressive rock and ice peak in the Khumbu Valley and forms the border between the Dudhkosi in the South and Hinku Valley to the North. Being challengeable, it approved only for those climbers who have enough experience in alpine mountaineering. It made up of ice as well as a rock and it contains three summits of East Kusum Kanguru (6360m.), Main Kusum Kanguru and smallest West Kusum Kanguru (5579m.). Kusum Kanguru is also known as Kusum Kangguru, Kusum Kangru, Kusum Kang, Kusum Khangru, Kusumkhang Karda, Kusu or Mount Kanguru. Kusum Kanguru first successful ascent of the main summit was made by Bill Denz of New Zealand on October 07, 1981, climbing the southwest buttress (west face), and descending the northwest flank. Denz did not only realise the first ascent, but also the first solo ascent and the first traverse of Kusum Kanguru. Five days later, on October 12, 1981, a Japanese team made the second ascent via the southeast face.

Days: 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 1338m  
Welcome to Kathmandu! Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. You can relax or stroll around the hotel area for the rest of the day. Overnight stay Hotel in Kathmandu
Days: 2: Full day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley  
Rich in art, culture, and heritage, Kathmandu also has been a major religious hub for years. We will be visiting several of the world heritage sites in the valley. Some of the sites include a major pilgrimage site in the country- Pashupatinath, ‘the Monkey temple’- Swayambhunath and the world’s largest stupa- Boudhanath in a private vehicle. After the sightseeing tour of the city, we will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu
Days: 3: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding, 2652m, 3 hours trekking  
After early morning breakfast, we take the super departure from Kathmandu to Lukla at 2827m. Flight time is around 35 minutes. We will have the opportunity to explore the town while the Sherpa group sorts out and load the trekking hardware in the wake of landing. Toward the evening, we start the trek by diving towards the Dudh Kosi River, where we join the primary path to Namche Bazaar, simply above Chauri kharka at 2713m. The strolling is simple and subsequent to going through the little town of Ghat at 2550m, it's a short stroll to Phakding. Max. After having breakfast, we head to climb the top of a ridge where we will be seeing the breathtaking views of Thamserku, Kantega, and KusumKangri. In spite of the fact that you can't see it, you can hear the Dudh Kosi and soon you plummet to the waterway and land at PhunkiTenga. It is a long move to KusumKangaru Base Camp. The principal half is particularly steep. As you move through the forested zone, the slope facilitates and an awe-inspiring perspective shows up. Keep ascending the mountainside corner to corner until you reach the Base Camp. You can fix your Tents here for your campground in light of the fact that the Himalayan perspectives are brilliant. For food, trekkers can either bring their own supplies or purchase food from local vendors along the way. Local vendors typically sell a variety of snacks and basic necessities, such as rice, noodles, and vegetables. Trekkers should also be sure to pack enough water for the entire expedition.
