Ganga Tamang Tenzing Lhamu Tamang has extensive trekking experience throughout Nepal and possesses in-depth knowledge of the socio-economic status and culture of all ethnic groups along the various trekking routes. He has guided clients on both treks and expeditions, and conducted business in all of Nepal's neighboring countries: Bhutan, Tibet, India, Sikkim, Ladakh, and Darjeeling. We all know that Nepal is a very mountainous country and should be explored on foot. Ganga is a specialist and takes trekkers to all regions of Nepal, including restricted areas subject to special permits (in compliance with regulations, of course!), allowing visitors to observe local people living their lives as they have for centuries. He has traveled to France and Southeast Asia, and is well-versed in the working methods of professionals there, as well as the practices of the European Community and South Asian countries. He now holds the position of Director of the trekking company NEPAL NEW GENERATION TREK AND ADVENTURE, newly launched in 2010. Guide Experience: The world of trekking and expeditions is far from new to Ganga. He has been working in it for 38 years (he is now 54). Born in the Dolakha district of Thulopatal, in the foothills of Mount Everest, Ganga is what you would call a self-made man with an incredible amount of energy. Ganga has achieved a great deal, having started at 16 as a porter and gradually climbing the ranks, from kitchen assistant to cook, then Sherpa, and finally High Mountain Guide. Throughout all these years, GANGA has travelled to all regions and climbed many mountains in his country, Nepal, and accompanied clients of all nationalities to Tibet and India on numerous occasions. In the EVEREST region: Ascent of BARUNTSE (7235 m) in 1998 and 2000 Ascents of LOBUCHE Peak (6548 m) in spring 1998 Ascent of PISANG PEAK (6091 m) in spring 1999 Ascent of Mt. Everest Expedition (8848 m) from Tibet and Nepal in 1999, 2000 and 2001 Ascents of Cho Oyu Expedition (8201 m) from Tibet in spring 2002 Ascent of POKALDE PEAK (5557 m) in 2002 Ascent of MERA PEAK (6545 m) about ten times, ISLAND PEAK (6189 m)...... Dagion:ns la ré GANGA was a guide instructor in Korea and India. He has trekked in all the regions of Nepal, from the most well-known—Kumbu, Annapurna, Langtang, Kangchenjunga—to the most remote—Saipal, Dolpo.
