After five hours drive from Kathmandu to Barabise Bazaar on the road to Tibet, you will leave civilization behind and head to the tranquility of the mountains in the land of hidden Rolwaling Valley. The trek passes through the spectacular high alpine valley, beautiful alpine forest of pines and rhododendrons, with including the Alpine passes picturesque traditional villages and unspoilt countryside. Similarly you can have a chance of views of farmland, pastures and villages of the highland Sherpa, with the bottom of the impressive view of Mt. Gaurishankar straddles the border with Tibet.

The trek leads to the last village in this region has Rolwaling Beding. Adventure Travel to the east continues to climb the 5925 meters Ramdung Peak. The rise is not technically difficult, but it is certainly difficult because of the altitude and remoteness peak. Ramdung himal  in Rolwaling is mostly used as a "warm-up leading to the 6000 meters Rolwaling. The normal route is up by the glacier of the North and North Ridge. The ascent of this peak is need not walk more than just snow. The route is steep but not long enough though. Ramdung offers an excellent view of Everest, Melungtse, Gaurishankar and many other peaks. After the ascent, one more adventure waiting to cross the 5755 m Tashi Laptsa pass.

The crossing takes at least two days. After crossing the pass, a long descent into the valley of Thame, and from the village of Thame in the Khumbu region to region Everest. From there, the trip arrives at the main runway has Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital. From Namche, one day a scenic walk to Lukla and the last camp for the scenic flight over the city back to the noisy and animated Kathmandu.
