Singu Chuli peak climb popularly known as the ‘Flute Peak’ stands at the height of 6501 meters in the Annapurna Sanctuary. This stunning mountain peak adjoins Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak) and lies within the vicinity of Hiunchuli peaks. The journey to the summit is filled with technicality, excitement, adventure, and a beautiful panorama.

The first expedition was made by Wilf Noyce and David Cox. They made the journey from the Northeast face and the top section of the East Ridge.

In order to climb Singu Chuli Peak, one must walk to the Modi Khola gorge straight into the Annapurna Sanctuary. During the trek, you will encounter glimpses of local life in the Annapurna region as you pass from one hamlet to the next. Ghorepani, Tadapani, Tikhedhunga, and other villages will lead you to the Annapurna Base Camp. The base camp of Annapurna is located at an altitude of 4,130m which allows you to enjoy the scenic and snow-capped view of the Annapurna region.

Another two high camps are established at 4900m on the North-East face and the other one at 5500m on the North-East face of the mountain. This will be the final campsite before reaching the summit.

The route to the top of the mountain is not straight, making locating the trail to the summit difficult. Similarly, the ascent to the summit is hindered by a vertical wall, making ascending extremely challenging. Hence, the climb to the Singu peak requires some previous mountain and ice climbing experience and appropriate alpine training.

The trail to this mountain peak may seem to be quite difficult compared to Tharpu Chuli as it is also the highest peak in the area. However, the summit of the mountain will welcome you with majestic views of a mountain range like Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, Annapurna Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), etc., and provides an unforgettable experience for the climbers once which makes up for all the hardship of the journey.

While trekking to the peak, you will have great cultural experiences in the places like Ghandruk and Chomrong. There is a relaxation period before entering the Machhapuchhare base camp and Annapurna base camp to accumulate the energy for the trek to higher elevations.  The relaxation place offers a period of resting and comfort with a great sight of the high mountains of the Himalayas. The whole journey is a varied experience in terms of adventure, rich cultural experience, and a sense of accomplishment.

The trail from Sinuwa Danda to Deurali is full of dense rhododendron forest with an almost perpendicular downhill route to reach the Bamboo Village. Further on, the trail will take you to a deep valley surrounded by an alluring vista of mountains. If you are fortunate enough, you may encounter glimpses of some native fauna popular in the area such as Black bears, white monkeys, etc. on your way to Deurali. After a long day of walking different topography, you will reach Deurali where you can rest for the night.
Days: Day 9: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
Today is the day you will feel closer to your destination as you will be trekking your way to Annapurna Base Camp and cross an elevation of 4,000 meters. Following an upward trail to the valley, you will reach the Machhapuchhare Base Camp after a couple of hours of walking. When you arrive at the base camp of Mt. Machhapuchhare, you will notice the effect of high altitude with freezing temperature and lack of vegetation. From there, an upward path leads to Annapurna Base Camp. As the altitude climbs, you must be more cautious of the changing environment and gradually adjust to it while maintaining personal safety. You must follow the tour guide's directions and notify them if something seems odd. After a bit, you will arrive in ABC, one of the most desired trekking spots, where you will spend the night at a teahouse admiring Mt. Annapurna.
Days: Day 10: Acclimatization and explore Annapurna Base Camp
Today, you will acclimatize at Annapurna Base Camp for the whole day to ensure a successful summit to the top of Singu Chuli Peak. While trailing your way to high elevation, it is important to take breaks and move slowly to avoid any altitude sickness and adapt to the altitude. However, acclimatization doesn’t mean sitting idle in your teahouse, you will get to explore the Annapurna Base Camp while glancing at the magnificent landscapes of snow-covered Annapurna I (8,091 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), etc. Make sure to wake up early in the morning to enjoy the breathtaking view of sunrise from Annapurna.
Days: Day 11: Trek to Tent Peak Base Camp
After a day of acclimatization, your body will be more adaptive toward the weather of the high altitude and be ready to move forward to your destination, the summit of Singu Chuli Peak. Descended from Annapurna glacier, the trail to the base camp of Tent Peak is quite difficult. The pace of the trek will be slow and steady to maintain a better climbing pattern. Since there are no tea houses at the base camp, the team will install the tented camp for stay at the base camp. You will relax for the night after dinner.
Days: Day 12: Trek to High Camp
Now, it is time to move from the base camp to the high camp of Tent peak which will bring you close to your destination. The climb to the high camp will be difficult as the section of the trail will be tougher, snowier, and slippery sometimes. The technical part of the peak will be started from this point. The night will be spent at a tented camp.
Days: 13: Acclimatization Day at Tent Peak High Camp
While climbing a high altitude peak, acclimatizing is essential to allow your body to get as much rest as possible and avoid any health consequences. The acclimatization day at Tent Peak high camp will recharge your energy and spirit preparing you for the next day's adventure.

Days: Day 15: Trek from Camp I to Camp II
This ascent day will take you very close to the summit of Singu Chuli. While ascending to an altitude of 5500 m, you have to move slowly to enjoy your trekking and dodge any chances of altitude sickness.
