However, like with all such risky excursions, there may be instances where we must change the schedule, possibly without much notice. While we make every attempt to stick to the timetable, we humbly ask for your patience and flexibility if unforeseen circumstances like weather or unforeseen natural events come into play. You may be sure that our knowledgeable guides will adjust as needed to make your tour as enjoyable as possible.

Schedule for each day
Days: 1 Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m)  
Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying an Nepal New Generation Trek signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle. Note: If you happen to arrive after 4 pm you would be briefed about the trip by our guide, this will be the pre-trip meeting for you, so please make sure that you ask all the questions. But if you arrive earlier than 4 pm, your pre-trip meeting would be on that very day at our office. During the meeting, we will introduce your trek leader/guide. For the meeting, please make sure you bring the passport, three copies of passport-size photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any, and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer. Overnight at a hotel. No meals included
Days: 2 Guided Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley  
After a hearty breakfast, at 8.30 am your sightseeing trip will start. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. Today we will visit some heritages listed below: Boudhanath Stupa: Boudhananath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. It was built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels
Days: 3 Drive from Kathmandu (1,300 meters) to Kerung (2,700 meters), 145 km/7 hours Food Breakfast Accomodation Lodge Elevation 2700  
After breakfast, early in the morning, you'll start this tour with a drive from Kathmandu to the Kerung border. You'll drive through Dhunche, Syabrubesi, Timure, Rasuwagadhi, and Kerung. After reaching the Kerung border, your permits will be checked at the immigration center. After completing the immigration, you'll take another two-hour uphill drive to Kerung.
Days: 4 Drive from Kerung to Tingri/Lhatse (4,350 meters) 225 km, 8 hours Food Breakfast Accomodation Lodge Elevation 4350  
On this day, you'll drive to the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau, the world's highest plateau. From here, you'll get a conspicuous glimpse of the Tibetan landscape. Also, from here, on a clear weather day, you'll see breathtaking views of Mt. Shishapangma and Cho Oyu. This 8-hour drive remains attractive, serene, scenic, and awe every day. Mt. Everest becomes visible from Tingri. With this beautiful glimpse, you'll stay overnight at the hotel in Tingri.
Days: 5 Drive from Tingri/Lhatse to Xigatse (3,900 meters), 244 km/6 hours Food Breakfast Accomodation Lodge Elevation 3900  
After breakfast, you'll head on the road. After leaving Lhatse, you'll cross the highest pass, Gyatso La, at 5,220 meters. The road remains scenic throughout the day. You'll also see the west road that reaches Mt. Kailash. You'll stop at the Yak Hotel in Xigatse for overnight accommodation.
Days: 6 Drive from Shigatse to Gyantse (3,950 meters). Sightseeing at Gyantse. Drive to Lhasa (3,656 meters) 271 km, 6 hours. Food Breakfast Accomodation Lodge Elevation 3656  
The 4th day on the Tibet Overland Tour remains picturesque as you'll drive through some incredible high Himalayan Pass and beautiful freshwater lakes. In the morning, you'll do sightseeing around Panchen Lama's Tashilhunpo Monastery. Here you'll observe the rituals, prayers, and other attributes. From Xigatse, you'll drive to Gyantse and visit famous sites, including Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. From here, you'll drive to Karola (5,010 meters), Kambala (4,749 meters), Yamdrok Tso, and the Tibetan river Brahmaputra (Yarlung Tsangpo). You'll stay overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
Days: 7 Whole day Sightseeing in Lhasa Food Breakfast Accomodation Lodge Elevation 3950  
On this day, you'll tour Lhasa, visiting the most beautiful and serene places. Potala Palace and Sera Monasteries are the two beautiful places you'll visit today. You'll also visit Barkhor market, Jokhang Temple, and more places. You'll stay overnight at the hotel in Lhasa
Days: 8 Sightseeing tour in Lhasa Food Breakfast Accomodation Lodge Elevation 3950  
On this day, after breakfast at the hotel, you'll visit Drepung Monastery. It's also a pristine place for the Dalai Lama. It used to be the palace for the Dalai Lama before shifting to Potala Palace. On this day, you'll also visit Sera Monastery, one of the "great Gelung monasteries in Tibet". The major attraction of this monastery is the monk's debate session that takes place between 3-5 pm. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
Days: 9 Drive from Lhasa to Xegar (4,300 meters) or fly back to Kathmandu Food Breakfast Accomodation Lodge Elevation 4300  
After visiting Lhasa, you'll prepare for the return to Kathmandu. You'll have two options: a two-day road trip via Xegar, Kerung, to Kathmandu or a direct flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu. If you take the road trip, you'll return to Xegar and stop for overnight accommodation at the hotel.
Days: 10 Fly back to home from Kathmandu  
The airport representative from Nepal New Generation Family will transport you to Kathmandu International Airport around 3 hours before your scheduled flight from where you will depart. Meals: Breakfast included.
