Seeking for a real adventure? Our travel itinerary is based on years of trekking expertise, ensuring that you have a fun and safe vacation. However, like with all such risky excursions, there may be instances where we must change the schedule, possibly without much notice. Days: 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - 1,300m/4,264 ft  
Upon our arrival in the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Nepal New Generation who will drop us off at our hotel. After checking in, we take a rest or visit Nepal New Generation’s office. We may also stroll in the streets of Thamel, a tourist hub in Kathmandu for some souvenir shopping. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Himalayan Glacier where you will be served excellent authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country's food culture. Days: 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Preparation for the Trek  
Today after breakfast we start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. The day will also be for finalizing official procedure and other necessary arrangements. You will be also briefed on the nature of the trek, equipments and team composition. Some of landmarks we visit include the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath). In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members. You can also make your last minute buying of personal items as you will be flying to the Himalayas tomorrow. Included meals:Breakfast
Days: 03: Drive to Sundarijal & trek to Chisapani (2300m/7544 ft): Drive 1 hour, Trek: 4 hours  
Today, we make an hour's drive to Sundarijal (1350m), our trek start point. From Sundarijal, trek to Chisopani (2300m). We begin our trek along a small hydroelectric plant. The trail then enters through into the Shivapuri National Park. The first settlement we come across is Mulkharka mostly inhabited by the Tamang people. Then we walk along the ridge through a forest of oaks and rhododendron to Chisopani. Included meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Days: 04: Trek from Chisapani to Gul Bhanjyang (2140 m/7021 ft, 14 km/8.7 mi, 5 hours)  
Start the day early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the mountains dominating the Chisapani skyline. Later, descend from Chisapani to Pati Bhanjyang and ascend to Chipling. From here, you make another steep climb on a stone staircase that takes you to Jogini Danda. Drop down through the rhododendron forests and continue the trek along the forested ridge before arriving in the Tamang village of Gul Bhanjyang. Overnight at a lodge in Gul Bhanjyang.
Days: 05: Trek from Gul Bhanjyang to Mangengoth (3285 m/10778 ft, 9.4 km/5.8 mi, 5 hours)  
You start climbing along the ridge from Gul Bhanjyang to reach a small pass, from where you head north to arrive in Kutumsang. After a short rest in the Hyolmo village of Kutumsang, you continue to climb on a steep trail through the rhododendron and fir forest to reach Mangengoth. Overnight at a lodge in Mangengoth.
Days: 06: Trek from Mangengoth to Melamchi Gaon (2530 m/8301 ft, 9.3 km/5.8 mi, 6 hours)  
Walk through the forests and cross the small streams to reach Thadepati Pass (3690m). An amazing view of the Langtang Himal range, Naya Kanga (5844m), and Dorje Lakpa (6966m) can be seen from the top of the pass. You then head east and the trail drops down rapidly through the pine and rhododendron forest towards Bolgang. Cross a suspension bridge and make a short climb to reach the Hyolmo village of Melamchi Gaon. Melamchi Gaon has a Tibetan Buddhist monastery with brightly painted walls and statues of Guru Rimpoche. Overnight at a lodge in Melamchi Gaon.
Days: 07: Trek from Melamchi Gaon to Tarkeghyang (2600 m/8530 ft, 6.1 km/3.8 mi, 4 hours)  
Cross the suspension bridge over Melamchi Khola and begin the climb to Tarkeghyang. En route, you pass through many Sherpa settlements scattered on the hillside. A winding trail through the forest brings you to Tarkehyang, also known as Helambu, which is inhabited by the Hyolmo community. Here, you visit one of the biggest and oldest monasteries of the region, Gekye Gompa, with the backdrop of Dorje Lakpa (6966m) and Naya Kanga (5844m). Overnight at a lodge in Tarkeghyang.
Days: 8: Trek from Tarkeghyang to Sermathang (2590 m/8596 ft, 11 km/6.8 mi, 5 hours)  
Today’s trek is easy as the trail is flat and passes through beautiful forests. A gentle descent takes you to Sermathang, which is an important apple-growing area in the Helambu region. There is also a Buddhist monastery which dates back to the 18th century. On a bright day, you can get the views of Ganesh Himal (7422m), Langtang Lirung (7227m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), and Naya Kanga (5844m). Overnight at a lodge in Sermathang.
Days: 09:Trek from Sermathang to Kakani (1996 m/6549 ft, 9.9 km/6.2 mi, 3 hours) and drive back to Kathmandu (1338 m/4390 ft, 5 hours) by private vehicle  
Today is the final day of trekking. You leave Sermathang and head to Kakani passing through several old villages and chair pine forest. The trail is dotted with several monasteries leading your way to Kakani, the last Hyolmo village in this trek. You take the private vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu from Kakani, relishing the countryside view seen throughout the drive. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Days: 10: Farewell Friend  
Today you are saying goodbye to the Himalayas. There is nothing to do but trade emails with travel companions and organize the photos. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. A representative from Nepal New Generation Trek will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
