Humla Simikot–Limi Valley Trekking Permit

The Humla Simikot–Limi Valley Trekking Permit is a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) required for all trekkers entering the remote Humla region of northwestern Nepal, including Limi Valley, Muchu, and surrounding Tibetan border areas. Issued by the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu, this permit helps regulate access to one of Nepal’s most isolated and culturally rich trekking routes. A licensed guide and registered trekking agency are mandatory for all trekkers in this region.

Trekking in the remote Humla–Simikot region, especially towards Limi Valley, Muchu, Tangekhola, and the Tibet border areas, requires special government authorization due to its restricted status and proximity to the international border. All permits must be arranged through a registered trekking agency in Nepal.
