Trekking in the Manaslu region requires several mandatory permits, including the Restricted Area Permit (RAP), Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP), and Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). Permit costs vary by season, with RAP fees ranging from USD 75 to USD 100 for the first 7 days, while MCAP and ACAP cost NPR 3,000 each for foreign trekkers. All permits must be arranged through a registered agency like Nepal New Generation Trek & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., and trekking with a licensed guide is compulsory.
The Manaslu region is a restricted trekking area in Nepal that requires multiple official permits to ensure environmental protection and controlled tourism. Trekkers must obtain permits through a registered trekking agency such as Nepal New Generation Trek & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., as independent trekking is not allowed in this region.
